college: day 2

schedule:
university experience: 10am - 11:50am
composition 1: 12:30am - 1:45am
photography: 6pm - 8:50pm

yay i got to sleep in today, for a hour. parking was pretty icky this morning, could have been worse though. UE was kinda dull, all we did was go over the syllabus and we got out kinda early. but the professor was down to earth. comp 1 was in the same building and i had about an hour, not enough to do anything but wait. so i got to class pretty early. teacher also down to earth. we had to write an essay about our writting history. ok... then i had 4 hours to burn before my next class. i just went home and did h/w. then finaly i got to photo class. i thought the instructor was a student when he walked in, so hes pretty young. he seems like a cool guy. again syllabus, and we were only in class about 5o minutes. he said its gonna be about $350 for supplies; paper, film, etc. ughhhh...

over all not to shabby, another day down, and hopefully school will be closed tomorrow, because those are my big boring classes. and there so spaced out too. seriously, 3 classes starting at 8am and ending at 5:50pm. and two of them are 50 minutes and the other is 1hr 5o min. so thats a LOT of time to kill.

first day o'college

schedule:
chemistry I 8:00am-8:50am
anthropology 11:30am-1:12pm

wake up 5:30am. eeeeeeee....
leave bout 6:45
arrive at school 7:15
i got to class about 7:35 and waited for class to start. class wasnt too bad, the professor seems like a down to earth guy. but chemistry, not my strongest science...

then after that i started looking for my next class. its probably in the smallest building on campus. i looked for it for about 40 minutes. and walked around it probably 5 times. i found it on the map but i couldnt find it on campus! i had to ask for directions. so i finaly got to class about 9:30, yes i know now that i was 2 hours early but at the time, i looked at the NEXT days class and it started at 10. so i sat down, and the syllabus was passed out, and i looked and it did not say anthropology. i looked at the guy next to me, and asked "this isnt anthropology is it?" he looked at me and chuckled and said "no its not". so i got out of that class as fast as i could.

so i sat in the library and then moved to the book store and waited until 10:15 to start looking for my class again. all 350 of us managed to fit in the building. and he took roll. for all 350 students in the class... other than that, not bad, really long and i have to read the first chapter of my book before thursday. again not too bad, maybe a little dull but hey its better than math.

all in all, not too bad for the first day. i survived. only 4 days left and my first week of college will be over, and i will hopefully have a better idea of my schedule and not end up in a class 2 hours early. hehehehehe...

class schedule

oh boy, so it looks as though my first semester at USF is going to be a hard one. i have chemistry 4 days a week and twice in one day. ugh. and i have precalculus trigonometry, ehhhh, i havent even had any math classes in over a year, that is gonna be one HARD class to pass. thens theres composition one to fulfil my english requirment for this term. and i have university experience as most incomming freshmen do. and then theres introduction to anthropology. that class just seems dull to me. but it looks the most interesting of the classes that i can pick from in that subject area so whatever. but this full schedule also means one more thing that i am VERY happy about: i can't do fish runs anymore, no more going up to apollo beach for me, no more crazy (but nice) fish lady. although i will miss chatting with some of the clients.

SSSTTTRRREEESSS!!!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I need some serious prayer! I've been jumping through hoops backwards trying to find out who has my shot records for orientation! So when i finaly tracked em down, they are incomplete!!! so now after a million phone calls and a few visits to every where in town, i am still missing one shot record, and i know its one i have because its one of the ones you need to get into 7th grade! so everyone tells me to call the school clinic and and guess what they arent picking up their phone! and when i went up there, no one was there. well switch those around i went up there yesterday and today and then i have called several times today and will continue to call until i get someone to pick up the phone! oh and orientation starts tomorow bright and early, and i NEED to have the shot record completed or they wont let me in. **twitch-twitch** the stress is really getting to me now so im gonna go before i have a melt down.....
